Guardianfante is an enemy in Blasphemous. Guardianfante is a giant humanoid that wields a dead deer as its weapon, as disturbing as it looks, there is also a little girl wearing a 17th century spanish court dress that sits on the humanoid's head and covers it with her dress. These enemies are creatures that appeared after a curse known as The Miracle fell upon the land of Cvstodia.

Guardianfante Information

  • This enemy starts off by walking up to The Penitent One. Once it's near and within range, the girl will send out a battle cry which signals the humanoid to attack. The Guardianfante will then raise the caracass of the dear over its head and slam it on the ground. The impact releases a shockwave which inflicts damage and knocks you back as well. The attack can only be blocked and remember to dodge away once the girl shouts to avoid getting hit by the slam.

Guardianfante Notes & Tips

  • The little girl on top could be inspired by the painting "Las Meninas" from Velasquez while the giant beneath could be inspired by the painting "Saturn Devouring His Son" by Francisco Goya
