Amanecida of the Molten Thorn is a Boss in Blasphemous. Amanecida of the Molten Thorn is a boss added in Stir of Dawn DLC. Bosses are unique Enemies that are uniquely named and must be defeated to unlock new areas, progress the game, and obtain unique gear.
To summon the Amanecida of the Molten Thorn, players must interact with Jibrael found at Wall of the Holy Prohibitions, who will ask players: "Do you want to make the Bronze Sing?", by saying Yes, this will give access to the boss room.

Recommended Item: Dove Skull
The Amanecida of the Molten Thorn begins the fight with a purple crystal shield protecting her from any damage. Continuously attacking this shield will wear this off and eventually break off the armor. From here, you will be able to attack the boss. You will not gain any Fervor while attacking the shield as it doesn't count as hitting the boss directly. Make sure to attack this shield first before you try to cast any skills.
The boss will also regenerate her armor by floating upwards and staying there for a few seconds. This is an opening to land attacks on her but be careful of the explosion right before her armor is regenerated. The same thing will follow as the first part of the fight, keep attacking her until the crystal armor breaks off.
Her primary attacks will consist of Rain of Thorns, Dash, Lance Strike, and Crystal attacks. These attacks are fairly quick and allow ample area for dodging and movement. Just make sure to pay attention to the direction where the spikes are going so you're not going to get hit. The Amanecida of the Molten Thorn also uses charged-up attacks that give an opening for hits for a few seconds right before they unleash their fatal attack. You can run up to her and attack her, then dodge right before her attack is unleashed.
The Amanecida of the Molten Thorn fight is easier to manage compared to the others, players simply need to pay attention to the ceiling to avoid getting hit by the Thorns falling from there. Players can also parry the dash, which is what her attacks are mostly comprised of, and finally, keep hitting the boss to make sure that her crystal armor is broken off. If you defeat the boss you will see the writing "REQUIEM AETERNAM" on the screen.

| Rain of Thorns | Thorns will form at the ceiling of the arena and will periodically fall during the fight. Make sure to pay attention to this as getting hit is very fatal to The Penitent One. She will also continuously attack you from the ground but players can parry this attack. |
| Dash | When the Amanecida of the Molten Thorn starts to move around the screen quickly, this is her dash. You will get damaged if you get in her way but this can be easily parried. |

| Lance Strike | This is when she uses her weapon to attack you normally with her weapon. There are no audio warnings for these attacks and the best way to counter them is to parry. She can also appear at any part of the screen so this can be very dangerous. |
| Crystal Drops | Watch out for the upper corners of your screen as the attack will be coming from there. The Amanecida will call forth crystals to materialize on the ceiling of the arena. As the crystals drop, she will engage you in a fight but beware that you cannot come in contact with the crystals because they will explode. The arena will move a little bit higher and then the fight will continue. |
Amanecida of the Molten Thorn Lore
Each of the Amanecidas is a reflection of Laudes, The First of the Amanecidas. Amanecida of the Molten Thorn uses a Bow and Arrow to attack and is seen wearing a sky blue robe with golden linings. Just like the others, she has a golden skull and can be summoned by interacting with Jibrael.Every time an Amanecida is defeated, their weapon will be displayed at the Hall of the Dawning.

- To identify a boss, a short cutscene will start and its name and health bar will appear at the middle bottom of the screen.
