Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel is a Boss in Blasphemous. Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel is a boss added in Stir of Dawn DLC. Bosses are unique Enemies that are uniquely named and must be defeated to unlock new areas, progress the game, and obtain unique gear.
To summon the Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel, players must interact with Jibrael found in the Patio of the Silent Steps who will ask players: "Do you want to make the Bronze Sing?", by saying Yes, this will give access to the boss room.

Item Recommendation: Quirce's Scorched Bead
The Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel begins the fight with a purple crystal shield protecting her from any damage. Continuously attacking this shield will wear this off and eventually break off the armor. From here, you will be able to attack the boss. You will not gain any Fervor while attacking the shield as it doesn't count as hitting the boss directly. Make sure to attack this shield first before you try to cast any skills.
The boss will also regenerate her armor by floating upwards and staying there for a few seconds. This is an opening to land attacks on her but be careful of the explosion right before her armor is regenerated. The same thing will follow as the first part of the fight, keep attacking her until the crystal armor breaks off.
During the fight with Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel, one of the biggest differences is that there is a chance to fall off the arena, and The Penitent One will die immediately. Players need to be careful when nearing the edge of the map as this will cause the progress of the fight to reset. The Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel has multiple swing and lunge attacks and her attacks are faster compared to the others.
Her primary attacks will consist of Tornadoes, Lunges, and some projectile attacks. These attacks are fairly quick and allow ample area for dodging and movement. Just make sure to pay attention to the direction where the Amanecidas is going so you're not going to get hit. These attacks also can be blocked or parried, but players need to jump over some attacks or avoid them entirely.
The Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel also uses charged-up attacks that give an opening for hits for a few seconds right before they unleash their fatal attack. You can run up to her and attack her, then dodge right before her attack is unleashed. Take note that the Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel leaves a ghostly image of her that will explode. Make sure to avoid it when you see the image left by her.
As mentioned earlier, Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel arena can cause players to fall off the map and players need to be aware of their surroundings. The attacks of this boss can be mostly parried and when her attacks hit, The Penitent One is pushed backward so make sure you have enough space when you're taking parries. The best time to attack is when Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel is charging up her attacks as these would leave her vulnerable and have a few seconds to hit her freely before she unleashes the attack. If you defeat the boss you will see the writing "REQUIEM AETERNAM" on the screen.

| Exploding Ghost | This attack can be identified by the greenish image left by the boss, like an apparition. This will explode after a few seconds and must be avoided. Simply move away from the image to avoid getting hit. |
| Sword Lunge | This attack will be marked by hearing a scream from her, and then she will quickly lunge at you. The area-of-effect of this attack is pretty wide and parrying works best for this type of attack. |

| Quick Sword Strike | The Amanecida will fly randomly on the screen and will send out an attack of projectile towards The Penitent One. Look out for the direction of the projectile and this can be avoided entirely. |
| Blades Attack | The boss will stand in the center of the arena and will begin spinning. Afterward, particles will begin to float toward her location and spinning blades will be launched toward The Penitent One. The idea is to stay close as she is charging up the attacks, and then go the opposite way right before she releases her attacks. Charged-up blades attack can be parried but timing is essential. |
Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel Lore
Each of the Amanecidas is a reflection of Laudes, The First of the Amanecidas. Amanecida of the Chiselled Steel uses a Golden Sword to attack and is seen wearing a cream-white robe with golden linings. Just like the others, she has a golden skull and can be summoned by interacting with Jibrael.Every time an Amanecida is defeated, their weapon will be displayed at the Hall of the Dawning.
